Upaya Penegakan Hukum Terhadap Tindak Pidana Pencurian Kotak Amal di Wilayah Hukum Polres Wonogiri

Abstrak

The author's background in conducting this research was based on the theft of charity boxes that occurred at the prayer room which was certainly detrimental to the community. This often occurs in prayer rooms that are quiet and far from residential areas. The loss of money is of course what is in the charity box, namely the money that the prayer room congregation has collected so far. Of course, this is considered theft. The methodology used is empirical juridical. This method is used because in this research a problem is discussed based on applicable rules and then connected to real cases in the field. Based on the discussion and analysis, it can be concluded that theft is a criminal act and must be punished by law enforcers. As explained in Criminal Code 363 which regulates theft. A criminal act can cause harm or suffering to other people, namely the victim of the criminal act. These losses and suffering take the form of material loss, physical suffering and psychological suffering. Material losses are losses involving economic problems suffered by victims of criminal acts. Physical suffering is suffering that lies in the physical condition of the victim of a crime.
