Abstrak

This study was conducted based on unemployment condition which is increasing recently because of unplacement in industy. Job training is an effort to decrease unemployment by improving competence in knowledge, skill and attitude which are appropriate to industrial needs.The method of this study was quantitative descriptive methode to analyse a phenomenon people’s high interest to join training in Balai Latihan Kerja Surakarta, then data were taken and processed quantitatively. The data were collected from 75 respondents randomly. Three hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis, while the processed data were interpreted to gain quantitative. Based on the conclusion of partial testing, motivation did not have any effect towards selecting decision to join training in Balai Latihan Kerja Surakarta, but quality perception and attitude had effect toward selecting decision to join training in Balai Latihan Kerja Surakarta. Quality perception variable had the highest effect towards selecting decision to join training in Balai Latihan Kerja Surakarta. Moreover, based on the conclusions of simultaneous testing, there variables had effect towards selecting decision to join training in Balai Latihan Kerja Surakarta
