Abstrak

Public services play an important role in improving the welfare of society. Based on Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 25 of 2009 on Public Services, quality, accessible, affordable, and useful services are the main objectives. However, challenges in the form of social risks and work accidents faced by workers often become obstacles that can affect their productivity and the welfare of their families. Therefore, adequate labor protection policies are needed. One of the government's innovative steps in improving public services is the implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan's digital programs, including the Work Accident Insurance Program (JKK). This program is designed to provide protection in the form of cash benefits and health services to workers who experience work accidents or diseases due to work environment conditions, as stipulated in Article 16 of Permenaker No. 01/2016. This study aims to analyze the JKK BPJS registration mechanism for employees of PT Remus Fakta Pratama and the claim process for workers who have work accidents at the Surakarta Branch of the Employment BPJS. The research method used is an empirical juridical approach with qualitative analysis, aiming to understand the application of law in social life through data collection in the field. The research findings show that registration and JKK claims must be carried out by the company.
