Journal of Research and Technology Studies (JRTS)  is a scholarly journal published by Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta (UNIBA). The journal was first launched in 2018 with the aim of providing a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to share research findings and knowledge across various fields of science.

Since its inception, JRTS Journal has been committed to publishing high-quality articles that meet rigorous academic standards and research ethics. The journal provides a space for research across various disciplines, with a focus on contemporary issues that are relevant to the development of science and technology.

In 2020, JRTS Journal transitioned to an online publication system in order to reach a wider audience and provide easier access to the published articles. This transition allowed the journal to increase its visibility and impact within the academic community, both nationally and internationally.

As research methodologies and technologies have evolved, JRTS Journal has continually updated its editorial policies to ensure that only articles that meet high standards of research integrity are accepted for publication. In 2021, the journal introduced a peer-review process to ensure the quality and validity of every article published.

As part of its efforts to improve scientific quality and expand its readership, JRTS Journal regularly collaborates with various educational institutions and academic communities both in Indonesia and abroad. This aims to create a constructive discussion space and strengthen research networks among scholars.
